DAY🌞 or NIGHT🌑

 

It is said darkness is the precursor of light…

But it gives you a chance to fight for your right…

 

The sun shall rise and the moon shall bow

That’s when one’s life shall glow…

 

Dark and Bright are not just mere happenings:

Each is a fresh start a new beginning…

 

To make you brighter…and bring out the shine

 That was within you the whole entire time…

 

 Hope is what that keeps us sane…

I try to engrave that in my brain…

 

I long for light to brighten my life…

A life of light may suffice…

 

But Oh! My dear friend… darkness is a blessing in disguise…

Only Dark has the power to make you rise…

 

Darkness will give you sight…

But light will make you lose insight …

 

The dark will allow you to prove you worth

After some time with light all around your eyes shall hurt.

 

Light shall make you blind to other’s plight

Selfishness shall reach its height…

 

This world shall neither end in fire… nor ice

ONLY light ALONE may suffice…

 

That is why there is day and night

To balance the system just right…

 

“May there always be light” is not a blessing but a curse…

Rather…“May you overcome darkness with positive force…”
